  • Great care is taken to ensure your artwork arrives in perfect condition.

    Prints:

All prints are delicately wrapped in acid-free tissue paper to protect their quality. Depending on their size, they will be safely packaged in one of the following two ways:

    • Smaller Prints: Shipped flat in a sturdy, hard-backed envelope.

    • Larger Prints: Carefully rolled and shipped in a protective mailing tube.

Professional Framing Recommendation for Giclée Prints: For the best presentation and longevity of your artwork, we highly recommend having it professionally framed. A skilled framer can help you choose the perfect frame to complement your space and protect the artwork. See our ‘caring for your artwork’ page for more details.

    Original Artwork:

    • For UK Orders - Original artwork is delivered stretched and ready to hang, securely packaged for safe delivery.

    • For International Orders:

When ordering larger pieces of original artwork you have the choice of two packaging options:

      1. Rolled in a Mailing Tube (Recommended)
Your artwork is carefully removed from the stretcher bars and safely rolled into a durable mailing tube. This reduces shipping costs and reduces the risk of damage during transit.

After it arrives, the artwork will need to be re-stretched by a professional framer. This is a standard process for many framers, and framing can usually be done at the same time.

      2. Stretched & Ready to Hang
Your artwork is shipped fully assembled, stretched over its wooden frame and ready to hang right out of the box.
This option includes higher shipping costs due to size and packaging requirements.

You’ll be able to choose how your artwork is shipped before adding it to your cart. If you're unsure which option to choose, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help!

  • The following information is only applicable for international orders (i.e., those delivered outside the UK):

If you're ordering from outside the UK, please be aware that customs duties or import taxes may apply when your order arrives in your country. These are set by your local customs authority and are not included in the item price or shipping cost.

That said, many countries do not charge import tax on original artwork — for example, the United States and Australia often allow original art to be imported duty-free under specific customs codes, although this isn’t guaranteed.

Anna Truby Art always labels shipments clearly and accurately to help minimise the chance of unnecessary charges. However, any import fees that may arise are the responsibility of the buyer, as they are beyond our control and vary from country to country.

In many cases — especially with original artwork — buyers experience low or no additional charges, though this depends entirely on the rules in your country.

If you're unsure what to expect, we strongly recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order.

    Thank you for your understanding.

Anna Truby Art is not responsible for any additional import taxes or duties charged upon delivery for international orders. These fees are set by your local authority and are the responsibility of the buyer.
